Outstanding Student Award

This award recognizes a current Queen’s student who has helped connect alumni and students. The student’s contribution(s) can be made in the year of nomination or over several years.

Award Eligibility & Criteria

Candidates should be:

  • A current student of Queen’s University in a recognized degree, diploma or certificate program
  • Someone who recognizes the importance of the QUAA mission and actively seeks to encourage and promote alumni and student connections
  • Recognized by their peers as someone who is an inspiration to the Queen’s student community

Aaryan Chaudhury

Aaryan’s tenure as a student has been defined by a profound commitment to the Queen’s community. Serving in numerous capacities as a student representative, Aaryan has been a leader on campus as events director of the Queen’s International Affairs Association, vice president and chief financial officer for the Arts and Science Undergraduate Society, and Queen’s Student Alumni Association President. Most recently, Aaryan has served as the government affairs manager at the Alma Mater Society for the 2021-22 academic year. Her efforts have made a significant contribution to Queen’s student experience.
