Ottawa Branch

Ottawa, ON

About the branch

Queen's Alumni Ottawa Branch serves the National Capital Region, including Ottawa, the Ottawa Valley, and Gatineau.

The branch works to engage alumni through educational programming, networking activities, and social activities. The branch also connects alumni with current Queen's students through special events like the Queen's Model Parliament alumni reception.

Cha Gheill Group

To help better serve the diverse needs of alumni, the branch includes a Cha Gheill Group which plans programming focused on our more established alumni. The group plans events like luncheon speakers and cultural activities which are open to all alumni and planned with alumni aged 50+ in mind.

The Grunnan Onarach Award (Ottawa Branch)

The Grunnan Onarach (Gaelic for "Honour Group") was established in 1988 by the Ottawa Branch of the Queen's University Alumni Association to commemorate its 100th anniversary. Membership in this society is granted to individuals who have made important contributions to the Ottawa Alumni and Alumnae Branches.
