Camp Outlook, which started at Queen’s more than 50 years ago, is a volunteer organization run mainly by students and alumni. It gives troubled youth the opportunity to develop inner strength and self-confidence by taking them on free, multi-day canoe expeditions. Join current volunteers and veteran campers as they celebrate their 50th reunion. The camp has been around 53 years, but the pandemic forced them to postpone the original reunion.
A beach house on Lake Ontario will be the Outlook House for the weekend and most of the events will be taking place nearby.
Enjoy drinks and tapas at the house Friday evening and a family-friendly picnic in Victoria Park on Saturday afternoon. There will be a buffet dinner at the beach house Saturday night and a paddle and picnic on Devil's Lake Sunday morning and much more.
This family-friendly event will allow past and current volunteers to meet, connect, and reminse over Camp Outlook's long history. Hear from current summer directors and staff and enjoy a silent auction fundraiser.
