Experience the captivating exhibition "Liu Shiming: Spirit of Daily Life," featuring an exquisite collection of Liu Shiming's bronze and ceramic sculptures. Spanning from the 1980s to 2000s, his award-winning artworks embody a modern spirit, drawing inspiration from Chinese folk culture, dynastic history, and daily life. 

Curated by Daria Murphy, a PhD candidate in the Department of Art History and Art Conservation, and in partnership with the New York based Liu Shiming Art Foundation, this exhibition showcases the profound relevance of Liu Shiming's creations, inviting you to explore the interconnectedness of art, culture, and shared experiences. 

Join us at the Isabel Bader Centre Feb. 6–16 from 10 am – 4 pm daily, as the Lunar New Year unfolds, and immerse yourself in Liu Shiming's masterful sculptures.
