Gael Force Book Launch

Queen's Athletics invites you to join us on Thursday, February 15 at 7:00pm for the launch of Merv Daub's second edition of the Gael Force Book.

Gael Force traces the history of Queen's Football dating back to 1882, chronicling the team’s ups and downs and integrating them within the history of the university, the country, and the sport in general.

Adding twenty more years of football history since Gael Force was first published in 1996, this new edition includes the 2009 Vanier Cup championship and the 2016 season played at the revitalized Richardson Stadium. It is both a tribute to a long-standing football legacy at Queen’s and an important historical and sociological study of college sport in Canada.

We invite you to stop by the Alumni Lounge in the Queen's Athletic & Recreation Centre on Thursday, February 15 to purchase your book and have it signed personally by Merv Daub. Gael Force Second Edition is on sale now for $30 including tax.
