New York Branch Welcome with the Mets

Get a backstage pass at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, to enjoy an evening of bright lights, career insights, networking, and baseball as we celebrate recent grads and welcome alumni who are new to New York. 

The evening starts at 5:45 pm with a private, pre-game networking reception and fireside chat at Citi Field with Mitch Wheatley, Sc’16, PhD’21, Assistant Director, Performance Technology at the New York Mets. Mitch will share how his Queen's experience helped shape his career with the New York Mets and the lessons he's learned working in Major League Baseball.

Following the reception and chat, guests can make their way to their seats for the game. First pitch starts at 7:10pm.

• Get career insights from Mitch Wheatley, Sc’16, PhD’21, and learn about his work with the Mets
• Dean Kevin Deluzio of Smith Engineering will be joining alumni volunteers and local alumni, family, and friends of Queen's to help welcome our newest grads to NYC at our exclusive evening at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets
• Meet Queen’s University Alumni Association Board member Toby Thomas, Sc’85
• Watch the New York Mets face off against the Philadelphia Phillies with the Queen's community in New York

How to register:

Please note both the registration with Queen's and the purchase of a designated Queen's alumni ticket through the Mets is required to attend. Early access to Citi Field for the reception will not be possible without both a ticket for the game and registration with Queen's. The link to purchase Queen's alumni tickets to the game will be shared in the registration process with Queen's.
