Ottawa Branch Welcome at Beyond the Pale

We're welcoming the Class of 2026 and alumni new to Ottawa while celebrating alumni-owned business with a trip to Beyond the Pale Brewing Company's City Centre Taproom. Join us in the Back Taproom for a casual evening of socializing, networking, and a chance to explore this alumni-owned business from owner Al Clark, Artsci'76, MBA'78. Meet new people, get career insights, and go behind-the-scenes at BTP.

What to expect:

• Meet Al Clark, Artsci'76, MBA'78, one of the co-founders of Beyond the Pale and hear about his career path and the craft brewing process.
• Meet local alumni leaders. Get to know your local Ottawa Branch, Smith Business Ottawa Chapter, and other Queen's volunteers, plus learn how to get involved with Queen's where you live.
• Enjoy Queen's-themed activities and join the fun by wearing tricolour or Queen's gear.
• Build your community by meeting new people, making connections, and learning the power of your Queen's alumni network.
• Enjoy delicious food and craft beverages. Beyond the Pale has a variety of beers and other craft beverages, including excellent low- and no-alcohol options.
