Smith Engineering Breakfast

Smith Engineering invites alumni to celebrate Homecoming with Dean Kevin Deluzio at Mitchell Hall. Enjoy a buffet-style pancake breakfast while networking with departmental representatives, reconnecting with former classmates, and meeting current students. Student teams will be present to provide updates on their recent activities, and you can also enjoy a self-guided tour of Mitchell Hall.

Registration will open this summer. We are excited to welcome our alumni back to campus and look forward to seeing you then!

About Mitchell Hall

Mitchell Hall offers a fully accessible experience for all mobility types. Feel free to contact us if you have specific accessibility concerns or require special arrangements. Learn more about accessibility at Michell Hall.

Thanks to the generosity of Bruce Mitchell, Sc’68 (Civil), DSC’20, and many supportive alumni, Mitchell Hall is an essential hub of the Queen’s Engineering community. Built upon the former footprint (brownfield site) of the Physical and Health Education Centre (PEC) and Jock Harty Arena, Mitchell Hall's doors opened in December 2018.

Mitchell Hall is home to three modern teaching studios used by Smith Engineering. The building also houses leading resources to support interdisciplinary research into human-machine interaction, new laboratories to support collaborative research in the field of freshwater resources, a learning commons for Mechanical engineering students, and rapid prototyping and testing labs.
