Scrymgeour Scholarship in Commerce

Donor Story:

This award is created to support and encourage well rounded students who demonstrate entrepreneurial achievements through proven leadership and a track record of community engagement and involvement in sports, extracurricular activities and culture throughout high school. The award is aimed at students with a sense of adventure who dream of building something new and different.

About the Fund:

Established in September 2018 by David Scrymgeour and awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students entering the first year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate proven leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and involvement in school or community activities, particularly sports. The award is renewable for three subsequent years provided a minimum GPA of 3.5 is maintained in a full course load.
