Fellowship opportunity empowers thousands of African students to start/continue scalable businesses

KINGSTON – The Mastercard Foundation and the Dunin-Deshpande Queen’s Innovation Centre (DDQIC) have announced a partnership offering free virtual entrepreneurship training, and an opportunity to receive startup funding to more than 1,000 students through the Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellowship on Entrepreneurship for African Students at Queen’s University.

100,000 Strong North America Grant Competition to Expand Climate-Action, Include Education Exchanges

Partners of the Americas Foundation and the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the U.S. State Department, together with Global Affairs Canada and Amazon have launched a request for grant proposals. This grant competition offers up to $25,000 USD to nine grants for a sustainable partnership between higher education institutions (HEIs) in Canada, Mexico, and the United States to create and implement climate-focused, educational exchange and training programs.
