On Wednesday, February 18, Queen’s University was honoured to host guests from Transmutex in collaboration with Kingston Economic Development Corporation (KEDC), Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Invest Ontario, St. Lawrence College, and Royal Military College.

Queen's has officially renewed our Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Matariki Network of Universities (MNU), an international alliance of six leading, like-minded institutions of which Queen’s has been a proud member since its founding in 2010.

Generative AI in Medicine: Foundations, Applications, and Responsible Use

All are welcome to join a virtual masterclass on Generative AI and Medicine being taught by Dr. Sofia Valanci MD,PhD, CPC(HC) in collaboration with the The Mexico-Canada Research and Learning Hub, Embassy of Mexico in Canada, and Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada.

On Thursday, January 22, the Office of the Vice-Provost, Global Engagement was honoured to host Silja Fischer, Senior Adviser Economic Affairs, Environment and Science, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Alanna Schaus, Senior Policy Advisor, Natural Resources Canada in collaboration with Kingston Economic Development Corporation (KEDC).

In last year’s Matariki Network of Universities Research Seed Fund competition, Dr. Jeremy Stewart, Associate Professor of Psychology, received funding as the lead investigator on a collaborative project with Dr. Michael Kyron from the University of Western Australia (UWA) titled “Towards Improved Understanding and Prediction of Suicide Risk Among Youth: A Transnational Collaborative Project.”

This November, Queen’s University had the honour of hosting a delegation led by Consul General Baxter Hunt, US Consulate in Toronto.
