Dr. Lisa Butler, Queen’s University Professor (Public Health Sciences) and Canada Research Chair (Global Health Equity), has been named the recipient of the 2026 Principal’s Globally Engaged Education Innovation Award (presented in partnership with the Office of the Vice-Provost Global Engagement), a well-deserved recognition of her transformative approach to teaching and learning at Queen’s University. 

The Matariki Network of Universities (MNU) has announced funding for three new collaborative research projects following a competitive selection process. Notably, two of these projects include researchers from Queen's University.
