PhD Candidate Owen Clifton has been awarded a visitorship at Oxford University’s Global Priorities Institute (GPI) for Trinity Term 2023.
In 2022, Owen was awarded the recently re-named “Oxford Global Priorities Fellowship,” and spent June at the GPI developing non-consequentialist perspectives on issues related to future generations. He is one of only a couple former fellows to be invited to return as a visitor for Trinity Term 2023. Other, senior visitors include philosophers Katie Steele, Christian Barry, Alan Hajek, Richard Pettigrew, and Heather Browning.
