The Fire Safety Technician is responsible for monthly and annual fire alarm testing. He ensures that all of our fire safety equipment and devices are in working order. They maintain all fire extinguishers on campus (including Residence and Apartment & Housing). The Fire Safety Technician assists in Fire Extinguisher Training and also assists with the disposal of hazardous waste.
The Fire Safety Technician is also a member of the Queen's University HAZMAT Team.
