Science - Climate Action and Low Carbon Futures

Researchers at Queen’s continue to advance Scientific issues around climate change including impacts on the systems.

The fight to limit greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to changes in climate requires research on environmental effects, human interactions with these and the tools and technologies that are required for these investigations. Climate science influences policy and regulations, helping to create sustainable futures.

At Queen’s, researchers examine everything from glaciers, lakes and rivers, Northern environments and the impact of existing oil and gas infrastructure.
