New York Branch - Terry Fox Run

Alumni are invited to participate in the annual Terry Fox Run, a 5 km family-friendly walk or run that raises funds for cancer research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. This is an event the New York City Branch participates in annually, so come on out and carry on the tradition for a good cause.

We meet at 9 am in Central Park at the Queen’s booth along the Mall near the amphitheater with the closest major landmark being Bethesda Fountain.

There is no fee to register for the run, but registrants are encouraged to collect donations from family and friends or make a personal donation. We are committed to inclusivity and accessibility. Please contact us about your accessibility requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate you. 

Alumni are also invited to a same-day social mixer at The Canuck at 5 pm. The social is a great way to connect with other alumni in New York City. Participants who want to do both will have lots of time to go home and clean up after the run and before the mixer!
