School of Policy Studies invites you to join Antoine Bilodeau and Luc Turgeon as they discuss the effects of events such as terrorist attacks, the adoption of various public policies, and the European "migrant crisis." They will explore critical events and how that might be perceived as targeting immigrants and ethnocultural minorities on their sense of belonging. Explore whether the Charter of Quebec of values (2013-14) and Bill 21 (2019) had a negative impact on minorities' sense of belonging in Quebec, and how this impacted the sense of belonging in Canada.
