Toronto Branch - Mobs, Myths and Mafia: Cha Gheill Luncheon

Toronto, ON

Join the Queen's Toronto Alumni Branch on May 16, 2018, at the Weston Golf and Country Club for Mobs, Myths and Mafia: Cha Gheill Luncheon. We are thrilled to welcome guest speaker, Professor Antonio Nicaso, Queen's lecturer and expert on the social history of Calabrian Mafia in Canada. You may know his best-selling book, Business or Blood, which inspired the 6 part series Bad Blood on CTV. Professor Nicaso will deconstruct the myth of mobsters to show that the real Mafia is very different from those portrayed by Hollywood.

A cash bar will be available. The venue is TTC accessible for all mobility types. No charge for parking.
