In this Australian Institute of International Affairs article, The Revolution is Female: Myanmar’s Women Fighting Against Min Aung Hlaing’s Junta, Bella Aung writes about how grassroots civil activism against creeping authoritarianism in Myanmar and Southeast Asia is being increasingly led by women. Despite overwhelming odds, they are beginning to have an impact.
