Emergency Support When in Canada Emergency Support Outside Canada
  • “911” for local emergency services.  If you are in a remote area, contact your local authorities. For Example: Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) detachment.
  • Queen’s 24-hour Emergency Report Centre (613-533-6111); collect calls will be accepted.

  • Carry your Queen's University Emergency Contact Card with you while traveling (collect calls will be accepted). You can pick up a card at your department or faculty office, or the Department of Environmental Health and Safety, or print from the link above.
  • Register for International SOS and download the International SOS Assistance App and carry the International Travel Emergency Contact Card with you.  
  • Register as a Canadian abroad at travel.gc.ca/travelling/registration OR with your country of citizenship if you are traveling on a non-Canadian passport.
  • Consider creating an Emergency Action Plan (PDF 165 KB).
  • Review cannabis regulations.
