Trans, non-binary, genderfluid, and other gender diverse students from Queen’s are invited to join this space facilitated by students for students to study, co-work, parallel play, craft, play boardgames, enjoy snacks, and connect with peers. Please knock on arrival.

2SLGBTQ+ students and their invited guests are welcome to join @queers4peers.ams on Wednesday evenings at 7pm for Queerly Watching (queer film screenings) at Rideau (third floor). This week (March 13th) we will be watching ‘Dear Ex’ which is a film about a teenager trapped in the middle of a bitter feud between his mother and a free-spirited man- who is both the lover and insurance beneficiary of his recently deceased father. Snacks, popcorn, and drinks available.

Black Queen's students are invited to drop by and have a casual chat with Tianna on resources tailored to your experience at Queen's.

2SLGBTQ+ Queen's students are invited to drop by to connect with Kel for: 

  • Referrals to service providers or campus offices
  • Navigating paperwork, such as name changes
  • Accessing gender-affirming supports
  • Connecting with community organizations
  • Addressing systemic barriers on campus
  • Information about programs and initiatives at YH and in the community

QTBIPOC Clothing Swap

Yellow House is looking for donations of used clothing! Please bring clean and gently used clothing to the Yellow House between now and March 8th. These clothes will go towards our BIPoC Clothing Swap on March 8th and remain at the Yellow House for students to browse, try on, and take as needed at any time going forward.

There will be various materials to work on textile work while chatting- you are also welcome to bring your own project.
