Come to YH @Rideau on February 9th for a day to honour Black students and to make them feel pampered, celebrated and joyful. In collaboration with @Quhyve.  

Feb 8th 4-7pm 2SLGBTQ+ students are invited to 207 Stuart (third floor) for an evening of games such as board games, Jackbox games, and an RPG, & crafting such as colouring and painting.

2sLGBTQ+ students and their invited guests are welcome to join @queers4peers.ams on Wednesday evenings at 7pm for Queerly Watching (queer film screenings) at Rideau (third floor). This week (Feb 7th) we will be watching ‘Good Grief’. Snacks, popcorn, and drinks available.  

Come out to our  support group 'Gender Splendor' hosted in collaboration with Student Wellness Services. This group is open to trans, nonbinary, two-spirit, agender, genderqueer, genderfluid and other non cisgender students at Queen's. Come meet and talk to our 2SLGBTQ+ counsellor, and Sexual and Gender Diversity Advisor, and other students. 

2sLGBTQ+ students and their invited guests are welcome to join @queers4peers.ams on Wednesday evenings at 7pm for Queerly Watching (queer film screenings) at Rideau (third floor). This week (Jan 24th) we will be watching ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’. Snacks, popcorn, and drinks available.  

Queen's students who are BIPoC and/or 2SLGBTQ+ are invited to drop by Rideau (third floor) on Thursday, Jan 25th 2:30-4pm and check in with a Queen's Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) advisor. Share how things are going, learn about supports available at queens, and how to book longer sessions.

2SLGBTQ+ students are invited to join Yellow House and @queensctl as we host a Drag Coffee house on January 26th from 4-6pm at 140 Stuart Street. Come discuss all things drag, socialize with your peers, and meet and greet with special guest Dr. Tommy Mayberry!

We will be reading and discussing 'Beyond the Gender Binary’ by Alok Vaid-Menon.

Expect sessions run by queer students for queer students: books are provided, viewing relevant media, optional reading of passages, & guided discussions.
