Ban Righ 100th Celebration

March 5 will mark 100 years since the opening of the Ban Righ Hall women's Residence! As the celebration aligns with International Women's Day (March 8), we are thrilled to host an event honouring female alumna and women's residence enthusiasts who spent nearly 24 years planning and advocating for the hall, including raising more than half of the funds needed to build the building through teas, bake sales, bridge parties, and small donations.   

• Ban Righ Hall is Queen's oldest residence and currently houses 60 female-identifying first-year students.  
• Students, alumni, staff, and faculty are invited to tea and refreshments from 2 to 4 p.m., with a short program starting at 3 p.m.
