Community and Entrepreneurial Development Initiative (CEDI) Ghana hosted the summit and final pitch competition of its inaugural cohort of EJobs4All in Accra from September 24-29, 2023.

DDQIC is thrilled to announce the remarkable success of the finalists in the 2023 Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellowship (JL MCF) on Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition. This groundbreaking event took place virtually and across seven different ‘watch party’ locations, gathering aspiring entrepreneurs from across Africa to showcase their innovative solutions and commitment to solving pressing global challenges.

Every year, our team organizes regional pitch competitions that give post-secondary students and other members of the Kingston community, the opportunity to advance their early stage venture through funding and mentorship. In the annual Dunin-Deshpande Summer Pitch Competition, teams have the opportunity to receive non dilutive seed funding. Competitors will go through a series of rounds and receive coaching from the DDQIC team and members of the global network to improve their final pitch.

Judith Onza Eyoa realized that this was the reality for many people with walking disabilities in Arua district, Northern Uganda, until she decided to change things.
