Title: CAT(0) cube complexes and their continuous generalizations
Abstract:
CAT(0) cube complexes are a type of higher dimensional generalization of trees, and have played a central role in geometric group theory. We will describe the geometry of CAT(0) cube complexes in broad strokes and then discuss more recent continuous versions of CAT(0) cube complexes coming from median structures and local cubulations.
