Title: Projectives, Injectives, and Cohomologies

Abstract:
We will wrap up section 1.5 on finite length objects by defining the Grothendieck group of a category. We then move onto the preliminaries of homological algebra. We define projective and injective objects in a category, as well as associating them to any object. Finally, we will introduce the cohomology groups of a module, as well as see some examples of computing the cohomologies of groups. Time permitting, we start on (locally) finite categories.
