My research background is in infectious disease modelling, but my true passion is math education. I have been volunteering for Math Quest since its inception and look forward to another great year.

Eve Mister

I am heading into my first year of Engineering at Queen's University. I love learning new things, and am always looking for new math to explore. Recently, I have been interested in vectors. Aside from math, I enjoy dancing, juggling, sewing, being outdoors and playing with my cats. I am looking forward to the chance to work on cool math problems with others that share my interest.

Grant Kaduck

Hi! I'm Grant Kaduck, a PhD student in mathematics at Queen's University. I previously completed my Bachelor's degree at the University of Waterloo and my Master's at Queen's. My research focuses on free probability, a field that connects probability with areas like quantum physics and random matrices. Outside of math, I enjoy reading, board games, and Dungeons & Dragons. I'm excited to share some of my favourite mathematical ideas with campers this summer!

Himansi Sembukuttige

Hi! I'm Himansi, a PhD student in Statistics at Queen's University. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Sri Lanka and my MSc in Statistics at the University of Regina. My research focuses on survival analysis, which studies time-to-event data. I enjoy teaching and showing students how mathematics and statistics help us understand the world. Outside of academics, I love dancing, baking, gardening, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Jack Ambrose

I am a current undergraduate studying Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. I am an avid competitor in math and programming contests and enjoy discovering unexpected solutions when working on challenging problems. Outside of school, I love sports, including tennis, ultimate frisbee, and badminton. I have worked with RabbitMath for the past 3 summers. I always find it fun and interesting to see curious students engaging with rich problems. This summer, I look forward to the camps and all the exciting mathematics to explore!

Jerin Tasnim Farin

I am a PhD student in Mathematics at Queen’s University. My research focuses on partial differential equations, with a special interest in how they connect to real-world challenges specially I am interested in the fluid-solid interaction problems. I am passionate about making math engaging and accessible, and I love creating spaces where students can explore the beauty and power of mathematical thinking. I am thrilled to be joining Math Camp this year and can’t wait to dive into some exciting math together!

Julia McClellan

Hi! I'm currently a PhD student in Mathematics at Queen's University, studying algebraic geometry and commutative algebra. I earned my Bachelor's degree at the University of Toronto and my MSc at Queen's. I discovered my passion for sharing mathematics through tutoring and teaching. Outside of my studies, I enjoy live music, spin classes, reading, and baking. I'm excited to return for another summer of math camp!

Luca Marrello

My name is Luca, and I hold an MSc in Biostatistics from Western University and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Windsor. My primary research interests include non-parametric methods, clinical trial data analysis, and biostatistics.
