Clients are to request quotations from suppliers according to the following thresholds

DG Maintenance (General Moving Services and Event Services)
- 1 quote required up to $40k
- >$40k defer to Frost the Mover or Walkers
Walkers/Capital Movers (General Moving Services only)
- 1 quote up to $75k
- 2 quotes between $75k to $250k
- >$250k – public tender
Frost the Mover/Rentx (General Moving Services only)
- 1 quote up to $75k
- 2 quotes between $75k to $250k
- >$250k – public tender

For larger office, laboratory or library, out-of-town moves you can also consider using Moving & Relocation Services (Nationwide Services).

Facilities and Strategic Procurement have streamlined the moving services request process. Moving services requests can now be made online by filling out a Moving Services Request form on the Facilities website:

This form is to be used when departments need items moved within their office/building or moving items to a different location.
Once the request is submitted you will receive a confirmation number that you can use to follow up with the moving company.
The moving company chosen will bill the requesting department directly.
Book your moving services request well in advance of the requested date to ensure availability.
Please continue to use the ewaste/furniture/scrap metal pick up request forms for disposal of end-of life items.
