Ryan began his career at Queen’s in 1998.  He joined Queen’s Strategic Procurement Services department as a Junior Buyer in 2016, and not long after, was promoted to the role of Buyer.  Prior to joining SPS, Ryan’s career at Queen’s was spent with Central ITS at the Campus Computer Store where he gained a wealth of knowledge in IT Procurement and Supplier Management.  Ryan is a leader in the ITS buying space, but also helps out in other areas whenever he is needed.

Ed began working at Queen’s in 2008 and joined the Strategic Procurement Services department in 2011.  As a Buyer, Ed primarily supports the construction procurement requirements of Physical Plant Services but is also available to provide procurement guidance and support to all areas of the Queen’s community. In addition, Ed is responsible for pulling data and slicing and dicing it for reporting to the various levels within the University and as required by the government.  As a Queen's graduate, Ed has history and knowledge that make him a huge asset to the SPS team!

After a move to the surrounding Kingston area, Diane’s Queen’s AP career began in 2006. Diane didn’t have to spend extensive time working through legacy paper processes in Accounts Payable before she navigated seamlessly into the new Procure to Pay world that PeopleSoft brought to Queen’s Finance life. She has experienced first-hand day-to-day transactional activity in her time with AP, while also acting as a key knowledge resource during several PeopleSoft upgrades. Her experiences in the AP team are diverse and have contributed immensely to her occupancy of the Accounts Payable Lead role, covering both acQuire and PeopleSoft AP functionality.

Shannon’s passion for systems and support led her to her current role of Junior Analyst on the Procurement Systems team. Shannon is the prime acQuire support contact.

Steve's career at Queen's University began in Printing Services where he spent 20 years before joining the Strategic Procurement Team.  In 2011, he joined SPS as a Buyer focusing on print related commodities and advising the Smith School of Business through their many, day to day purchases.  In 2019, Steve accepted the role of Manager, Postal and Printing Services.  He now leads that team, but continues to help out the buyers in a limited capacity.

Nicki joined Queen’s University’s Strategic Procurement Services in 2008 after completing a certification program in Business.  Her career in Procurement has seen Nicki in a variety of roles within the Department. She embodies a diverse skill set of functional and technical expertise in the Procure to Pay area, which has led her to the Senior Manager, eProcurement role within the Department. Responsibilities of this role include management of the eProcurement systems and Accounts Payable team.

Nicole began her career at Queen’s in 2004. She joined Queen’s Strategic Procurement Services department as a Procurement Specialist in 2016, which led to roles of Manager, Senior Procurement, acQuire and Accounts Payable; Associate Director, Procurement Operations; and Associate Director, Strategic Procurement Services. Recently, Nicole has been promoted to the role of Director. Prior to joining Strategic Procurement, Nicole’s career at Queen’s spanned finance and administrative roles in the Office of Advancement, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, the Department of Family Medicine and Human Resources. Previous to Queen's, Nicole's supply chain experience included purchasing, warehousing, logistics and customs in the manufacturing and service industries.
