| Amanda Gray Undergraduate School: Western University, Hon BA in History. Supervisor: Dr. Richard Ascough Research Interests: Early Christianity and Greco-Roman religion, religious narratives among early Christ groups in the Roman Empire, and how these narratives served later theological and political purposes; associations and community formation in the ancient Mediterranean; construction of founding narratives in early religious movements; social-historical approaches to religious communities; religion within cultural-historical contexts. These interests sit within a broader engagement with history spanning ancient civilizations, medieval Europe, the early twentieth century and twentieth-century conflicts, and Canadian and Indigenous history. Cathy Roberts Undergraduate School: BAH with a major in Religious Studies and a minor in Film and Media Studies, Queen's University Supervisor: TBD Research Interests: My research interests include religious experience, mysticism, embodiment, consciousness, and the relationship between religion and the sciences. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches to understanding extraordinary human experiences and how they are interpreted within different religious and cultural contexts.
