SSHRC’s Storytellers Challenge asks postsecondary students to show Canadians, in up to three minutes or 300 words, how social sciences and humanities research is affecting our lives, our world and our future for the better.
This workshop will help students with putting together their proposals for the challenge.
The goals for the workshop are:
- Learning how to write your personal story/journey for the screen.
- Learning how to compress it effectively into short form narrative.
- Learning how to make good videos with minimal equipment and low-cost production.
- Tips and Tricks to keep in mind while recording/shooting.
