Travel Funding

The Office of Post-Doctoral Training administers the Post-Doctoral Travel Awards program. This program is to encourage post-doctoral fellows to travel to conferences to present their scholarly work.  All post-doctoral fellows currently holding an appointment at Queen’s University are eligible to apply if they have not received an award in the last three competitions.

Deadlines for applications are in April and November.

Upcoming deadline: November 1, 2021. Competition opens one month before the deadline.

In light of current travel restrictions and the transition of many academic conferences to remote delivery, post-doctoral fellows wishing to participate in remote academic conferences are eligible to apply for this award in support of conference registration fees.
