This form may be used to request the following services:
- Planning, including requests for new space and changes to space usage;
- Renovations or alterations to existing space, or for estimates to plan such work; and
- Design consultation and support to plan or reconfigure furniture, equipment and fixtures.
There are three types of requests that can be made using the Planning & Renovation request form:
- Add, Divest or Relocate Space
- Renovations and Alterations
- Furniture and Equipment Design and Reconfiguration
Only one type of request at a time may be submitted.
When complete and submitted, this form will automatically be sent by email to the individual identified in the "Project Approval" section. Please ensure that you have selected the person with authority to approve the work being requested. Incorrect approval may delay the processing of your form by CPRE. If you are uncertain of the approval authority, please contact your Faculty or Department office, or CPRE, for assistance.
What if I will need to renovate or need design work once my space has changed? Will I need to submit another form?
You will not need to submit another form. You will be asked on the add/divest/relocate space form whether or not you anticipate the need for renovations, alterations or design work. If you select "Yes", once the changes to space are determined your form will be automatically forwarded to a Project Manager in CPRE.
What if my renovation also requires a change in furniture or equipment design? Will I need to submit another form?
You will not need to submit another form. You will be asked on the renovation and alteration form whether or not you anticipate the need for furniture and equipment design and reconfiguration. You should select "Yes" and provide high level details in the in your project purpose and the location details. Once your space form is assigned to a Project Manager, they will reach out to you to discuss your requirements in further detail.
