Pride week is in full swing in Kingston, June 8th – 15th, 2025. This is a fun and important opportunity to celebrate and show support for “the diversity of genders, sexualities and cultures within 2SLGBTQIA+ Community” at Queens, in Kingston and area. Whether you are marching in the parade, creating a zine, singing karaoke, participating in a drag show, playing bingo, or making a friendship bracelet, there are so many ways to get involved and show your pride.
This year’s theme is: The Rainbow and Beyond: Stronger Together
“This theme represents the strength our community has within and beyond the rainbow. It is a call to action to our allies (individuals, organisations and more) who must stand up and fight for us. It stands as a reminder to persevere, even in times of uncertainty. To hold space for all walks of life, to ask questions, and to hear their stories”. Embrace the theme and come dressed in your most colourful rainbow.
