About Donna: Donna has built a reputation for strategy, leadership, governance, and bridging the realms of academic theory and practical application. Her practice focuses on both traditional management consulting as well as family businesses and family offices. Her work takes her right across Canada and most recently internationally to the UK. Academically, she holds four degrees, most recently, a PhD in knowledge management. She was a SSHRC Doctoral Fellow and has led significant strategic engagements at Queen’s, University of Calgary, Athabasca University, and SAIT.  Donna’s passion in post-secondary education was sparked when she was elected the first female president of Queen’s AMS in over 40 years. In addition, Donna has held multiple leadership roles at Queen’s. She has published a textbook on strategic planning, multiple academic articles on her work, and lectures regularly to MBAs/EMBAs at the Drucker School of Management where she is a Senior Drucker Research Fellow.

Donna has led fifteen significant transformations in the corporate, agricultural, social services and performing arts including: Nova Corporation, YWCA, and Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. She has received National and Provincial awards for her work.
