Scott Megginson, Arstci’89 (Drama)

Introduction

Fondest Queen's Memory: Stage managing, then directing the Queen's Entertainment Agency (AMS) with great shows on campus including Squeeze, Crowded House, Jeff Healey, Blue Rodeo, and the Tragically Hip. Playing in campus and local bands at all the pubs and writing Entertainment for the Queen's Journal.

About Scott: After graduating, Scott recorded and toured as a professional musician before launching his Market Research career at the Angus Reid Group in 1991. Other positions were at Warner Lambert (Adams Brands), and then PepsiCo Canada where he launched and Directed the Consumer Insights function for Pepsi/Quaker/Tropicana/Gatorade Canada.  His work at PepsiCo was recognized with the Chairman's Award in 2008, followed by a cross-functional assignment in Sales as Director of Category Management.

Scott joined Kantar in 2010, as President of Millward Brown and now leads Kantar Canada’s Insights Division.  He is a regular speaker at industry events, and currently Chair of the Dean’s Council for the Arts & Science Faculty and Chair of the Board of The Insights Association Canadian Council.
