Our MA in Religious Studies is a challenging twelve-month program that can help you gain excellent research and writing skills while working with internationally renowned experts. The program also offers generous financial assistance with a competitive funding package.
The program focuses on the relationship between religion and culture (ancient or contemporary) and, furthermore, places an emphasis on contemporary theories and methods in the study of religion. The courses are designed to equip students with the tools to analyze and question such issues as politics, culture, race, gender, sexuality, and science, in the construction of religion. For more information about the program, please see MA Program | School of Religion (queensu.ca).
