Dr. Xavier has a PhD in Religion and Culture from the joint Wilfrid Laurier U program in Religious Diversity in North America.
The School of Religion is delighted to welcome Dr. Matthew Dougherty as Flora Jane Baker Postdoctoral Fellow for the period July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020.
Dr. Dougherty has a PhD in Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Pamela Dickey Young, Acting Director, was appointed as Distinguished Visitor at Aston University in Birmingham, UK in July 2018. One of her public tasks was to deliver a lecture entitled: “What’s Religion Got to Do with It? How Young Adults in Canada Make Decisions about ‘Premarital’ Sex.”
This past summer our beloved Elias Andrews Room underwent a long overdue renovation. The new look was unveiled at the Graduate Students /Faculty Meet and Greet in September.
