Visiting Scholar Announcement
Queen's School of Religion is excited to announce that we will be hosting Professor Biko Mandela Gray, an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University, as a Queen's Visiting Scholar. Professor Gray works on African American religion broadly, and is interested in connections between race, subjectivity, religion, and embodiment. He is currently completing a book on contemporary racial justice movements, like Blacklivesmatter, and is exploring the intersections between embodiment, religion, and subjectivity.

RELS Student receives Global Undergraduate Award
A group of the world’s top performing students gathered in Dublin from 11–13 November 2019 to take part in the Global Undergraduate Summit, a 3-day conference where students from 38 universities, 12 countries and 25 different categories gathered to collaborate and share research.
RELS MA student Samuel Maclennan was Highly Commended in the Philosophy category for his paper Queering Mary in Christian Feminist Theological Literature.
2019 AAR/SBL Conference
The annual American Academy of Religion/Society of Biblical Literature Conference was held was held in San Diego, California in November of this year and was well attended by the Queen's University, School of Religion's faculty. There participation covered a variety of activities listed below.
