Sharday Mosurinjohn, Bader Postdoctoral Fellow and Adjunct Instructor at the School of Religion, used an innovative and creative assignment in her course RELS 452/852 The Contemporary Religious Situation.
Her students developed and wrote wikipedia entries as a means to contribute scholarly information to a real-world resource. Read her reflections on the exciting authentic learning experience on the Wiki Education Foundation website.
On January 17, 2016, Professor Jason Kelly presented a paper at the International Society for the Study of Religion, Nature and Culture's Tenth Anniversary Conference - "Religion, Science and the Future". Hosted by the University of Florida, the conference explores cutting edge research in the interdisciplinary fields that contribute to new understandings of religion, nature and culture.
On March 20th, 2016, Professor Jason James Kelly presented a paper at “Being Spiritual but Not Religious: Past, Present, Future(s)” Rockwell Symposium, held at Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Kaitlin Hollander's artistic work Defining Religion, developed in RELS 161 Contemporary Problems in Religion and Culture, will be displayed as part of the Creative Expressions of Teaching and Learning exhibit from October 3 to 28 in Duncan McArthur Hall.
