Budget Committee

Mandate

The Residence Budget Committee shall advise both the Senate Residence Committee and senior Residence administration in connection with establishing and reviewing the annual budget for the residence system and the planned/required residence fee structure.

Without limiting the scope of the committee, the committee may be mandated to review such matters as are referred to it by the Senate Residence Committee.

The Budget Committee shall provide regular reports for information and fee and budget recommendations for approval annually to the Senate Residence Committee.

Membership

  • Chair – Executive Director, Housing and Ancillary Services
  • Manager of Finance, Housing and Ancillary Services
  • President, Residence Society (or designate)
  • Representative from Residence Life
  • Representative from the Budget Office
  • Representative from the Office of the Vice-Principal (Finance & Administration)
  • Representative from the Office of the Vice-Provost & Dean of Student Affairs
  • Representative of the Alma Mater Society
  • Representative of the Residence Society - to be appointed by the Residence Society President
  • Representative of the Society of Graduate & Professional Students
