Tara Jackson

Introduction

Tara Jackson (ArtSci ’96) is the Director of Communications and Marketing, leading the overall vision and strategy for the Faculty’s communications and marketing portfolio. In collaboration with Faculty and campus partners, she works to build and strengthen relationships that foster engagement, generate interest in the institution, and elevate the Faculty of Arts and Science—differentiating it from internal and external competitors and resonating with diverse stakeholders.

With a postgraduate degree in journalism and more than 20 years of experience as a strategic storyteller and senior communications leader, Tara brings a deep understanding of how to craft narratives that align with institutional missions and values, always with a focus on clarity and impact. Her career spans the education and health sectors, where she has helped grow student enrolment, engage donors, and enhance institutional profiles both nationally and internationally.
