Alison Darling

Introduction

Alison is the Director, Professional Programs at Queen’s Industrial Relations Centre (IRC), a professional development unit within the Faculty of Arts and Science that provides training in the areas of labour relations, human resources and organization development. She oversees the financial and strategic direction of the IRC and is a long-time Queen’s employee, having previously spent many years at the Smith School of Business. She brings to the IRC a demonstrated history of successfully leading teams within the higher education sector. She is skilled in leadership, maximizing operational effectiveness, training delivery, management of multi-national teams, coaching, and teaching. She is also a strong business development professional who holds an Executive MBA from Queen’s.
