Introduction
Laura provides strategic support for the fundraising and institutional development activities carried out by the Faculty. She works with Dean Barbara Crow, department heads, the Office of Advancement and the broader university community to create and implement successful fundraising strategies.
Laura is well acquainted with Queen’s, having spent her childhood years in Kingston and graduating out of the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen’s. After graduating, Laura spent a few years in Toronto working in the insurance industry and returned to Kingston and Queen’s in 1994. She has held a number of portfolios in the Office of Advancement and is happy to now be working to support the fundraising priorities of Arts and Science. Laura is a past board member with Kingston Literacy and the Kingston Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association. She is a member of the Associated Fundraising Professionals of Eastern Ontario.
