Association for Queer Employees continues to thrive

After officially being accepted as an Employee Resource Group in December of 2020, the Queen’s University Association for Queer Employees (QUAQE) has continued to grow and thrive while creating a more inclusive and supportive workplace for 2SLGTBQ+ employees at Queen’s University.

Queer chapter builds connections, community

Just months after launching a chapter aimed at connecting the university’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two spirit, and other identifying (LGBTQ2S+) students, alumni, faculty, and staff, Stacy Kelly, Artsci’93, says the group is answering an important need in the community.

Queen’s celebrates Pride Month

The arrival of June marks the start of Pride Month, a time to honour and support members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, while also reflecting on the long, difficult history that has led to this month.

Queen’s joins the Moose Hide Campaign

Queen’s University took part in the Moose Hide Campaign on Thursday, May 12, for the first time. The Moose Hide Campaign is a nationwide grassroots movement of Indigenous men and boys seeking to end violence against women and children.
