Go beyond the classroom

UY Winter GeneralIn addition to lectures and guest speakers, students studying at Bader College have the added benefits of experiential learning opportunities that take them out into the local area and beyond to see their studies in action. At the Castle, special emphasis is placed on learning by doing. Our outstanding experiential and active learning program and career-ready workshops encourage you to develop the skills you need to succeed through active participation and personal contact with primary sources, outside of a traditional classroom environment.

The Bader College experience is deliberately international and intercultural, to help you develop an understanding of what it means to be part of a globalized world. You will have opportunities to travel independently, with London being within two hours of the campus.

The Winter Term includes a five-day mid-term trip, where you will have the opportunity  both to engage in experiential learning and take on your own personal exploration. In previous terms our students have experienced cities like Oxford, Liverpool, and Edinburgh on their mid-term trips.
