The Classics faculty, staff, graduate students, and friends of the Department gathered again this year to celebrate the holiday season and the end of another successful fall term. Our annual Holiday Luncheon is an opportunity to visit with friends and colleagues and enjoy their company and conversation during this festive time of year. Everyone enjoyed the wonderful selection of fruits, cheeses, sandwiches and breads, as well as a variety of desserts. Thanks to Jenny Hope Simpson for her delicious contribution - it was so nice to see our emeriti, Dick Hope Simpson and Ross and Sue Kilpatrick, along with so many friends of the department and graduate students. Our best wishes for a wonderful holiday and a happy and peaceful 2010!
