Kingston's Farmers Markets

Produce at Kingston's downtown market: "Red Peppers - 2.00 each, Ont."

Kingston's downtown market, a great meeting place behind the City Hall, was established in 1801 and it is one of the oldest in Canada.

You can also visit area farmers, bakers, butchers right on the Queen's campus at the weekly Wednesday Farmer's Market, held in front of the John Deutsch University Centre during the warmer months, and inside the JDUC when the weather is colder.

Fresh, homegrown food is a focus for restaurants and home chefs in the Kingston area. For more area farmers markets check this resource.
