First Student Graduates from Queen's-Stuttgart Dual Master's Program in Chemistry

Matthias Hermann is the first student to graduate from the dual master's degree program in Chemistry offered through a partnership between Queen's University and Universität Stuttgart in Germany.

After starting the dual degree in Germany, Hermann's home country, Mr. Hermann (MSc'17) came to Queen's to complete the program and successfully defend his thesis before graduating with two master's degrees in Chemistry - one from Queen's and one from Stuttgart. Mr. Hermann's thesis focused on a device he invented that detects cadmium in drinking water.
