From the structure of the cell to the structure of society, your studies in Kinesiology will expose you to the complex factors that influence health and wellness. As a Queen’s Kinesiology student you’ll also: 

  • Have opportunities to work with varsity athletes and staff in the Queen's Athletics programs to gain a range of transferrable professional skills 
  • Access to teaching labs that offer state-of-the art equipment and small class sizes to advance students’ understanding of the exercise sciences

 A Glimpse into First Year

Your first-year experience will be completely unique to you. You will have the opportunity to pick your own classes, join clubs, participate in sports, meet new people, and figure out what you want to study the rest of your time at Queen’s.  

  • Live in a residence building on-campus, or live off-campus in beautiful Kingston – no matter where you live, you’ll have the chance to feel connected to campus, students, and the city
  • Choose five courses per term that really interest you, where you can explore and narrow down your passions  
  • Take theory out of the classroom and work with community partners on real-life projects
  • Pick from over 1,100 student volunteer and leadership positions, and roughly 300 student-run clubs to get involved in the Queen’s community 
  • Be part of a community of people who are intelligent, critical thinkers, who are passionate about learning and expanding their horizons
